Each of our daily talks is given by one of our enthusiastic keepers and lasts approximately 10-15 minutes
Meet the KeeperTime: 13:30Description: Enjoy the chance to see one of our owls up close. ‘Boris’ our European Eagle owl is the largest owl in the world with a wingspan of 5 foot making him a very impressive bird of prey.
Pelican FeedTime: 14:30Description: An experience not to be missed! These are large impressive birds with a greedy appetite and the largest beak of any bird in the world.
Penguin FeedTime: 15:00Description: Don't miss our fantastic penguin exhibit where you can view the penguins from a raised walkway or an underwater viewing cave. The keepers feed these loveable birds with fish and you can watch as the penguins dive into the water for their food. You'll also get to see our famous penguin 'Kentucky' and find out whether he can be coaxed into the water to enjoy his favourite meal.
Lemur FeedTime: 16:00Description: Come experience the wonderful lemurs of Madagascar. The keeper will explain how these old world primates live in the trees on the island of Madagascar and why it is so important to conserve these threatened species.
