An exciting opportunity has arisen at Blackbrook. As busy season kicks into gear, we are looking for ‘Welcome Wardens’ to work in our busy shop and reception area at weekends and over the summer holidays.

Your duties will involve greeting customers as they enter the park and provide them with information about the animals, directions and other general enquires they may have. You will also offer information on adoptions, keeper days and memberships schemes.

This is a fantastic opportunity and is open to everyone over 16.

To celebrate Blackbrooks 21st Anniversary, We are proud to announce the start of our Blackbrook history tours,

Whilst being led around by a keeper, Learn how Blackbrook has grown from its Hillside roots in Mobberly to become the UKs largest collection of Birds, while soaking in the unique atmosphere that only Blackbrook can offer.

Tours start at 3:00pm and last approx 1 hour, followed by refreshments. Booking essential. £20 per ticket including admission. Group discount of 20% available for 10 or more.

The park is closed today, the roads in are closed; A523 police diversion, A53 road closed due to snow, serious winds have knocked out the electric, and keepers unable to get to work.On site emergency staff are feeding.

Zoo keeper experience days will be re-arranged, please call Debbie on 07970978363, however I will be unable to look at dates to rearrange today as I am at home and the bookings diary is at the park. So please call tomorrow, but please rest assured that we will move any bookings from today.
