Hands on work with the animals, working alongside our dedicated team of keepers in your teams to learn a real sense of team work! Prices from £95 per person per day including breakfast and lunch. At the end of your day your company will be presented with an adoption plaque for one of our animals too, to be displayed on the enclosure for all of our visitors to see. Corporate Adventures For years now companies just like yours have been introducing “Team Building” to bond work forces and company departments in a bid to improve company performance. Engaging in activities to help teams to work together in solving problems and achieve results in “the out of the ordinary” challenges.  Blackbrook Zoo can offer you a team building day with a difference!A day of exciting challenges, working alongside our dedicated team of keepers who work tirelessly to ensure that our collection of rare and endangered birds and animals are kept healthy and happy. Of course their days are never the same, sometimes with the odd escapee, injured animal or damaged enclosure to contend with, and that’s just before breakfast! Your team will arrive in the morning and enjoy a light breakfast before listening to a short talk, they will then be taken on an hour long tour of the zoo to set them up for their day. Mid morning they will break for refreshments whilst being briefed on their team duties with their designated keepers. They will then take on some zoo keeper duties in teams of approximately 8 people and will be marked by their keeper on route. A break for lunch for an hour and then the work really begins. Your teams will be working alongside the keepers on their usual duties but will also be set some challenges in emergency situations, how will they cope under the pressure when they are called upon to help? They will also be offered the chance to perform “get me out of the jungle” type challenges; will they take the challenge to earn more points for the team? The keepers are on hand to assist all the way but the teams need to solve some pretty tough situations, nothing too strenuous, but the problem solving qualities of your staff will need to be prominent. The teams will then head back to the education centre for a summary and points delivery from their keepers. The winning team will share a bottle of champagne and Thornton’s chocolates! Great fun, challenging and extremely rewarding team building, and a day to remember for years to come!
